Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Bloomfield Police Chief Christopher Goul announced today that arrest warrants have been issued for Marcelus Tonic, 25, of Newark.
Tonic is wanted for the murder of 24-year-old Ron E. Jean of Belleville. Jean was fatally shot on April 27 at approximately 3:30 am in the 500 block of Beardsley Avenue in Bloomfield. He was pronounced dead at 4:06 a.m.
