Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced today graduation ceremonies for the first class of the Clergy-Citizen Academy will take place on Wednesday, April 6 at 6 p.m. on the 14th Floor of the Leroy Smith Building, located at 60 Nelson Place, behind the Essex County courthouse.
Members of the press are welcome to cover the event. Attorney General Paula Dow will be the keynote speaker.
The Clergy-Citizen Academy is a six-week program to familiarize clergy and other community leaders with the day-to-day operations of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Approximately 75 citizens and clergy members have taken part in the first class. As graduates of the program, they will be our ambassadors to the community.
