On Sept. 13, Bader was fatally shot trying to stop a robbery at Jamil & Sons Family Grocery, the Clinton Avenue grocery store owned by his family.
Newark Police Director Samuel DeMaio stated, “I am very pleased that through the dedicated work of the investigators assigned to this case we were able to arrest the individuals responsible for the senseless and tragic murder of one of our City’s youth. Again, I extend my heartfelt prayers to the victims’ family and loved ones and hope they derive some level of solace from these arrests.”
The investigation is active and ongoing. These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they plead guilty or are found guilty in a court of law.
