Suspect Sought in Police Shooting
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert D. Laurino today announced Raheem Walker, 20, of Newark is wanted in connection with the police involved shooting in Newark on Monday, June 21, 2010. Walker has been charged with robbery, conspiracy and weapons offenses. Walkers’ co-conspirator Jahad Phillips, 19, of Newark was fatally shot by a Newark Police officer.…
