Acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert D. Laurino announced today that members of law enforcement are seeking assistance in apprehending Jalil Teal, 20, of Newark.
Teal, who also uses the name Taheemen Green, is wanted for the murder or Nii Sowah. The Honorable Michael A. Petrolle, J.S.C. signed an arrest warrant last night for Teal.
Sowah, 24, of Newark was fatally shot at approximate 2:43 p.m. on Aug. 25 in the 100 block of Mapes Avenue in Newark. He was pronounced dead at University Hospital at 3:09 p.m.
