Carmen Martin manages communications for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Carmen is a former writer/producer with over 30 years of experience in both local and national television news.

A graduate of Fordham University, Carmen began her career as a writer and producer with the award-winning team at ABC-7’s Eyewitness News. Carmen further distinguished herself by producing Tiempo, WABC-TV’s long-running public affairs program, celebrated for its impact on the Latino community.

Throughout her career, Carmen has produced for leading networks such as ABC, CNN, NBC, and Al Jazeera America. Prior to coming to ECPO she was a producer at NJ PBS.

A passionate advocate for diversity in media, Carmen is a dedicated member of both the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists.
