The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Newark Police Department are currently investigating the suspicious death of a male and a female found dead in a room at the Hotel Rivera located at 169 Clinton Avenue, Newark, N .J.
At approximately 9:15 AM, Newark Police responded to the hotel after guests complained of a foul odor emanating out of a room. A further investigation revealed the lifeless bodies of two individuals. No further details are available at this time.
