Acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert D. Laurino is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jamar Holmes, 31, of West Orange. Holmes is wanted for the stabbing death of Donald Andrews.
Andrews, 40, of East Orange was fatally stabbed on New Year’s Day at a liquor store located at 81 Tremont Ave., Newark. Andrews was purchasing beer at the store when Holmes allegedly entered the store and fatally stabbed the victim once.
A warrant has been issued for Holmes’ arrest. His last known address was on Liberty Street in West Orange.
