Essex County Sheriff’s Crime Stoppers Program Offers Reward
Essex County Sheriff Armando B. Fontoura announced, today, that the Essex County Sheriff’s Crime Stoppers Program is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the fatal shooting of Al-Sanir Hall, 16, of Newark.
On November 27, 2022, at 6:59 pm, Irvington police were notified of a shooting at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Wills Place in Irvington. Police found Hall apparently suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:24 pm.
