Prosecutor Stephens was one of the many speakers at today’s Essex County Public Safety Youth Academy graduation.
The recruits, ages 8-13, spent three weeks this summer learning the functions of the ECPO, the Newark and East Orange police and fire departments, and the Essex County Sheriff’s Office.
