Charges Dismissed Against Seton Hall University Basketball Player

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office announced today, April 5, 2011, that pending criminal charges against Jordan Theodore have been dismissed. Theodore, a basketball player at Seton Hall University, had been accused of displaying a handgun during an on-campus altercation on Feb. 15, 2011. A criminal complaint had been filed by a citizen and forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office. After receiving the complaint, Prosecutor’s detectives conducted an investigation of the incident. As the investigation concluded, a determination was made that there is insufficient credible evidence to warrant prosecution.
