Carmen Martin manages communications for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. She is a former writer/producer with over 30 years of experience in both local and national television news.

A graduate of Fordham University, she began her career with the award-winning team at ABC-7’s Eyewitness News as a writer and producer. Carmen further distinguished herself by producing Tiempo, WABC-TV’s long-running Latino public affairs program, celebrated for its impact on the Latino community.

Throughout her career, Carmen has produced for leading networks such as ABC, CNN, NBC, and Al Jazeera America. Most recently, she was a producer at NJ PBS.

A passionate advocate for diversity in media, Carmen is a dedicated member of both the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists.
