SEEKING INFORMATION — Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark 2011 — FATAL HIT and RUN

On June 2, 2011, A female was struck by a motor vehicle in the area of 442 Frelinghuysen Avenue/ Noble in the City of Newark. The vehicle is described as a white colored 2002-2004 Toyota, Corolla, 4 door, which was last seen traveling south on Frelinghuysen Avenue in the City of Newark. The vehicle should have damage to the driver’s side door, mirror, front fender, and fog light cover, damage is consistent with a pedestrian collision. (Photo below shows similar vehicle.)

The Essex County Prosecutors Office Vehicular Homicide Unit along with the Newark Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating the vehicle operator and vehicle involved.
